Michelle Doe for Village of Dryden Trustee – Vote March 18, 2026

“I have lived in the Village of Dryden my entire life. I graduated from Dryden High School and Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3), and my career has always centered on service and supporting people. I worked at Cortland County DSS, Family Counseling Services of Cortland County, and later spent 20 years as TC3’s Coordinator of Enrollment Operations, where I received the Trustees Award for Excellence in Service and was appointed to the Faculty/Student Association Committee.

“Community service is in my bones! My parents taught me early on that giving back matters—my father was a volunteer fireman and my mother cooked for Dryden senior citizens. Following their example I have tried to support people in meaningful ways, for example, by providing the many TC3 students facing food insecurity with snacks, tea, and essential personal products, and offering them a welcoming place. I believe ‘people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.’

“My vision for the Village is a community that is connected, inclusive, and thriving. I fully support the new Dryden Center for Community as a vibrant gathering place, especially for our senior citizens. I will build on my strong relationship with TC3 to strengthen the Village’s partnership with them. I support thoughtful growth and expanding housing opportunities. Finally, as a person with mobility challenges, I am committed to making sure all village services and facilities are accessible to everyone, and to helping residents find the resources that allow them to participate fully in community life.”
