The 2024 Democrat Line Up

President/Vice President

Kamala Harris / Tim Walz

As the daughter of parents who brought her to civil rights marches in a stroller, Kamala was inspired to tackle injustice from an early age. She took that mission to county courtrooms, the California Attorney General’s office, the United States Senate, and the White House. Now she is running for President of the United States to continue protecting our freedoms, delivering justice, and expanding opportunity so that every American can not just get by, but get ahead.

Governor Walz is a champion for America’s working families. He enlisted in the Army National Guard when he turned 17 and served for 24 years, rising to the rank of Command Sergeant Major. After attending college thanks to the GI Bill, Tim Walz served his community as a high school teacher and football coach – taking his team to the state championship for the first time in the school’s history. He became a member of Congress in a Republican district by representing the needs of farmers and rural America. As Governor, Tim Walz cut taxes for working families, lowered the cost of insulin and eliminated junk fees, and protected women’s right to choose. That experience makes him the ideal running mate for Kamala Harris, who has taken on the big banks, led the fight for reproductive freedom, and stood with our allies against Putin’s aggression during her time as a prosecutor, Attorney General, Senator, and Vice President.

US Senate

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand doesn’t shy away from a big fight. In just her first term in the Senate, Kirsten led the effort to repeal the discriminatory “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, which banned LGBTQ people from serving openly in the military. And she passed the historic 9/11 health bill, which ensured that first responders and 9/11 survivors got the health care they deserved. More recently, she passed major legislation to give benefits to veterans exposed to toxic burn pits overseas, passed the first-ever federal law making domestic gun trafficking a crime, and reformed the military justice system on behalf of our nation’s service members. “Neighborhoods like the one I grew up in have been sold out by corrupt politicians and greedy corporations. I’m fighting back.” – Josh Riley

A fifth-generation Upstate New Yorker, Josh was born-and-raised in a working-class neighborhood in Endicott where his mom worked in law enforcement and his dad, grandparents, and generations before them worked in the IBM and Endicott-Johnson plants. When the local factories closed, Josh saw his community struggle while Wall Street enjoyed soaring corporate profits.

That experience has guided Josh’s career, inspiring him to always fight for the left-behind and counted-out.  Read More
